If witnesses are so important to the Democratic Managers, why didn't they do their job and interview ALL of the witnesses on their "wish list" during the House impeachment hearings? And why did they refuse to grant the Republicans permission to interview THEIR witnesses or let the president's lawyers cross-examine the Democratic witnesses in the House proceedings? If witnesses are now "fair" for Democrats in the Senate, why weren't they "fair" for Republicans and for the President in the House impeachment hearings?

Why didn't the House call more witnesses in their impeachment hearings? Theey are the ones to call witnesses and make the case for impeachment, not the Senate. The House Democrats did a extremely poor job in holding their impeachment hearings.
