It’s easier for musicians to deal with the touring aspects than for a lead singer. Especially singing Steve Perry’s catalogue.

I may be 66 yrs old but in my real inner self, I feel like I'm still in my 20s & still get that wonderful feeling when an old Journey song plays.. so sooo blessed to have seen them twice in the '80s... nothing beats that memory ❤

Steve knew even before the breakup that there were serious issues, too much extended touring and not enough me time, we fans just didn't fully understand at the time of this interview just how burnt out Steve was 😥😔

I remember seeing Steve on his bike a few Tim’s back home after he walked away. He and his best buddy would ride past my house on weekends

I love the "Raised on Radio" album and II love all of the Classic Journey/Steve Perry albums and Steve will always be "The Voice." Thank God that he is still with us today and has found his passion and love for music again and he's doing things that bring him joy. I'm a huge Journey fan and I will always love Steve and all of the beuatiful music that he has given us through the years, both with Journey and as a solo artist. He is a living legend.❤❤

Perry is rockin' a serious fro-mullet. It may be the power source for his angelic vocals.

It's a beautiful dream to fulfill your desires but it has a high price, the life of an artist is so complicated, shows tours interviews radio tv etc..Thank you soo Steve, I'm eternal fan😍

steve lost his woman, that means different things to different people, the group was thinking money and fame and steve was dealing with that and his hip, pain man, lots of pain, god bless him for beautifying the world

Never forget seeing Journey in 1987 on the Raised on Radio tour…my dream concert. Couldn’t believe I was actually seeing my favorite band. Reunion Arena in Dallas. Glass Tiger opened for them….

The curtain went up - lights went on - and with all my bottled up ‘Frontiers’ expectations - I distinctly remember saying to my buddy, “who the hell are these people?”

It was always made to feel like it was Neal's band. Steve never felt one hundred percent a part of it. They weren't like ZZ Top where it was always the same three that were the sole members (RIP Dusty). Steve got a nice retirement from them after his final exit.
