Such a positive interview. And after listening to other interviews and reading Jonathan Cain's book I think much of the media likes to keep that hype going

Not really familiar with the hiring and firing. Started listen to these guys with the release of faithfully. The music they made was so different then other rock bands. Each guy added something to the other. I’m just glad they lasted together as long as they did. They made some really good music together. And yes you can find someone to copy them but it isn’t them. Thank you guys…

you don't know him at all Jon. he was so pleased to see Neal and quite possibly missed him the most.

Journey without Steve Perry is like the Rolling Stones without Mick Jagger. Please.

Steve's the best to ever do it. Simple as that.

So where is the feud? While I am positive they have had their disagreements as most relationships do (money making things worse) absence does seem to help them appreciate. I heard "Well, I THINK I know Steve Perry" which makes me kind of sad. Granted he has reasons to sound like he cares ($$). Maybe it's me but I think Jonathan Cain does.

every last member of journey should kiss perry's skinny ass that he made them millionaires. yeah sure they're all talented musicians but talented musicians were a dime a dozen back then. steve MADE journey. he took them out of obscurity. without steve perry journey would have been the greatest band ever in the bar/college circuit making hundreds of dollars a month! lol

Would be nice to see them let Ross back in the band after a few years.

Both of these guys did not want Gregg Rolie performing at the RRHOF. I have lost a tremendous amount of respect for both of them. JC wouldn;t have a job if it wasn't for Gregg. Ross, what the hell were you thinking?

Surprised, didn’t Steve fire Ross for the Raised On Radio album? Maybe he just doesn’t want to appear bitter

What goes on behind closed door with rock stars? Jonathan Cain join the ranks of Dan Peek of America, B.J. Thomas (Raindrops keep falling on my head), Al Green, Barry McGuire (Eve of Destruction) that turned them into Christian musicians. With Cain, I guess it was the school fire that kill him, or with Peek, possibly the time he fell off the balcony and survived. Or it might be the endless cycle of performing then being too jacked up to sleep, sex, drugs and rock-n-roll that did them in.
