This is food for thought: you won’t tithe or give offerings but you’ll gladly charge your credit cards for things you’d like. You’ll have many entertainment or convenience subscriptions, more clothes than you need, more video games, but are troubled with giving into God’s house.
I’m sure the Lord wants us to get to the point where we are truly blessed to be a blessing financially. Abraham tithed and was blessed by it because his heart was right. The blessing Abraham is on us New Testament believers. How’s about we do the works of Abraham, the FATHER OF FAITH? Chew the meat and spit out the bones, beloved. People can be error, but His word is forever settled in Heaven.
Remember to evaluate yourself to be in the faith. And when you give, know why you’re giving. God rewards those who seek Him, in every area of life.

The church IS NOT required to tithe.Its up to the individual if he or she wants to.
Tithing was to pay the Levitical priesthood that took care of the Temple and synagogues.That no longer exists because it was done away with through Jesus.
