I wish the world was there when this happened to me. I went to prison here in Texas in 1991. I serve 9 1/2 years. In 1994 I met Kenneth Copeland on Ferguson unit in Texas, who came cell to cell and shook inmate’s hands and spoke to us briefly. I really don’t know how to explain it but when he got to my cell, he had four men standing with him and he walked up put his hand in my cell and said Boy you sure are young. What are you doing here?. we spoke briefly about my crimes. When he went to shake my hand, I felt an unusual heat coming from his hand, but the funny part was all the sudden I started to feel really sick, and my stomach hurt as he was looking at me and my eyes I had never in my life seen a more scary person, not even in prison. Something about standing there with him and looking at him, petrified me. I felt as I was looking in the eyes about psychopath evilPerson. I felt really nauseous and my instinct told me to get away from him. What he said, “can I pray for you, Boy?” I backed up, and I said no, thank you because I was really scared at that point of who was standing before me. My instincts just told me to get away from this man. I truly felt I was in the presence of evil. So when I said no, he took a step back, looked at me with this really creepy grin and said boy you sure are gonna be in here a long time and gave a little laugh and walked off. But when he got down the run about 4 or 5 cells for me, I came back to my bars and said “fuck you, you’re evil” he laughed at me and said “yeah but you’re the one behind bars”. I got out of prison cleaned my life up and have kids and a wife and a great life. And Kenneth ? I still have not ran into anyone that evil.
