Proof Justin Peters is a False Teacher Full of Nonsense

Justin Peters gives his explanation for Cessationism and claims his reasoning and logic is inherent proof in favor of his false doctrine but he only proves how unbiblical he is and how illogical and nonsensical his reasoning truly is, and how he struggles to find a way to undermine the authority and sufficiency of Scripture in favor of his Calvinistic and Cessationistic doctrines.

The more I listen to this channel, the more I appreciate Pastor Justin Peters. This channel is a perfect example of how to misinterpret the Bible and lead the sheeps astray.

You can not expose lies to light if you are blind and in darkness. Peters: A very insightful Man. I think it might be something personal here. Be careful what you say. The Lord Judges this too.

My question is this. Do you know someone who consistently lays hands on the sick and heals them? Have you personally seen this multiple times? Justin Peters has never denied the power of the Holy Spirit, but show me the person who can do what the apostles did before 50 AD, and I want to know why they are not going around to hospitals.

When was the last time you spoke in tongues in an intelligent fashion and there was an interpreter there to tell everyone what you said

Justin Peters doesn't distract the viewer by asking them to subscribe multiple times in his videos. Nor push out quick 10min clips for simple rants

You start with a statement about Justing that is false; he is not saying that because people disagree with him they are wrong. Not at all. What he is saying is that if indeed the apostolic gifts of healing, tongues, etc. were still going on today, we would not be discussing the veracity of these gifts, but where are the people that heal, that were supernaturally given the ability to speak languages they did not study and translate those languages? What I see is Justing teaching truth and you just hatefully trying to difame him by making a mockery of it. It is sad to see this personal public mockery.

The fact that there is a debate is proof that the gifts ceased, because the gifts are so great and you can t miss them, even roman empire soldiers couldn’t deny them,

So since about 100 AD and approximately 1960, the church has overlooked this phenomenon? Really?

I got to know Justin Peters personally and spiritually for a short time when he visited our church here in the northwest
I can tell you emphatically that he is a humble man of God who preaches biblical doctrine in context with right interpretation
I even got a chance to take him out to eat a couple nights a week and grill him and ask him series of questions
he gave excellent answers

So because Justin doesn't believe in a bunch of nonsensical jibber jabber and a bunch of fake healer's that can straighten out people's legs, but never go to a hospital to do anything, he's a false teacher??? You're a real smart guy?? Bless your heart, you are some kind of special!!

Isn't this entire argument just downplaying the overt and miraculous events of the first century?

I defy anyone to hold that, for example, the handkerchiefs given out by St Paul were just manifesting hysteria and placebo like the 'faith healers' of the 21st century. Nobody is denying that the Holy Spirit still gives gifts out to the congregation, what this is all against are the wolves who claim to have the gifts which were specifically only given out to the early church in order to quickly and miraculously build the first generation of believers.

If these miraculous "Apostolic" gifts are really happening hidden behind closed doors, why not focus on the millions of people who are faking those gifts for personal gain, rather than trying to condemn those who are going after those wolves?

Okay so I’ve been approached by well over a dozen people claiming to have gifts of the Holy Spirit. One said he had the gift of tongues the other said he could translate. They decided to “prophecy” to me and literally everything they said was false other than my name. I had a man “with the gift of healing” come up and pray for my arthritis and told me the Holy Spirit said my hands would be healed in the morning. My hands were never healed. These examples go on and on. However, when you confront these people about their lies they claim “oh your faith isn’t strong enough” or “you have sin in your life and that’s why the lord won’t heal you” and all that nonsense.

So, do I think Justin Peters is the best minister ever? No. But I also don’t believe in the gifts of the spirit being handed out like participation trophies because literally every single person who ever came up to me claiming to have one has been lying.

I haven’t met or seen a single person with gifts of the Holy Spirit in my 40 years of life. Ive met and seen people who THINK they have powers or try to convince you they have powers, but I’ve not met or seen a single one that does.

What I have seen of Justin Peters is him calling out very popular preachers for telling people multiple lies about going to heaven and standing up on stage saying God is speaking to them right then in that moment which I believe they are lying and it is evil if they are. But, is that mainly what Justin does? Is his ministry mainly to goo around to different churches just to tell on these false teachers? If so, what kind of ministry is that for God? Just to go around juding people? IDK...I do know if I was a pastor my whole heart would be to preach the gospel to save people!

I am totally against Calvinism and used to be a big fan of JP but i found out what limited atonement really was and I find it despicable. However, think what he is trying to say is that if there were still large scale miraculous things going on there would be no debate about it…. Not saying he is right… but I do think that things were a little different when Jesus was on earth, his character didn’t change, but the way he interacts w the world did…. There’s no people going around doing mass healing or consistent instant healing right now…. God still heals and answers prayers… but I really think the gifts are more subtle now. The miracles in the Bible were for us to come to believe now…. Big miracles like that aren’t necessary anymore, Also many non believers in the Bible saw miracles and didn’t believe it was really God, that is very clear. I agree w you on most things but we gotta be consistent…. Thanks for your work…

I would like to ask a question do you think the office of the apostle is still fot today. Next do you yourself operate in the gifts or one of the gifts. What are your thoughts on the kondilene in Hinduism. What are your thoughts on carasmatic maddness we see in the church today

Brian, how could you say Justin is a sheep in wolf clothing? Its okay to disagree with his theology, but to say the things you do about him is awful. I enjoy most of your teachings, but Justin's ministry brought me out of the Word of Faith movement, and I've never looked back. God bless.x
