Jordan Peterson Refers to the events of the 20th century, the atrocities of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union under Stalin, and he says that to understand what the perpetrators of those heinous acts were like, we have to put ourselves in their shoes and we would see how easy it is for anyone to commit evil.

He says, “they’re exactly just like you, and if you don’t know this, you’re naïve and you know nothing about people, including yourself.”
The question is not if you have the capability of becoming a monster.

The question is, what sort of monster do you want to become? A controlled monster or a resentful and hate filled one? Jordan Peterson says you either become a monster voluntary or accidentally...Jordan Peterson - Why You Should Unleash The EVIL MONSTER Inside You

Really is true that the way to avoid conflict is to show you're confident enough to handle the conflict

47 years into my life and I can say being humble and virtuous didn't accomplish anything except how to be a doormat. Wish I knew how and had been a monster in my younger years.

Basically, don't be a doormat, but also don't go to the other extreme and be consumed by all your worst impulses.

As a kid who always got bullied at school everyday,
I stand up for myself.
This is correct you should be a monster and control it after you use it

So true. People crush you and mistreat your and abuse you and use you if you are too kind and too caring and too soft. It’s time to be cruel 2022

This is exactly what happened to me. When i was too nice people walked all over me. When i changed and became aggressive people respected me. At that point i was overly aggressive for a long time and didnt know how to handle it. until i learnt to calm my ego and to be kind from a position of power. The sad thing is the real world is cruel and people will walk over u and abuse u if they can. Especially in the working world.

I’m 26, I will say that I experienced the monster in me 3 years ago.
I blew up on my ex boss, he would bully me and others in the workplace.
He said one word to me that made me see red. My whole body started feeling hot, which had never happened to me before, and I blew up on him. I couldn’t believe I had that type of rage in me, it felt good.
His face was priceless to say the least.
After that I became a different person, I started getting angry and speaking my mind a lot more than I should’ve.
I became a bitter person, angry at anyone who didn’t show me respect.
It came to a point to when my sister realized I was being overly reactive and angry all the time.
It took me a few days to realize I had unleashed my shadow, and I needed to tame it ASAP.
Looking back at it all, I’m glad I experienced the monster within me.

''If you are not capable of cruelty, you are absolutely a victim to someone who is'' .. This runs deep, better to know you can be cruel when you choose to be.

I understand. He's saying if you aren't cruel you'll be a victim to your bullies. He wasn't saying be an actual heartless monster but have a back bone so that you won't be a victim to a bully or future bully. Thanks for sharing.
