I plant all mine away from the house were I can look out the window and see them all out in the yard

Stuff up by the house are aster flowers thistle the only cutting i do on those each year is cut them down after they make seeds an they blow off to the neighbor's yards.

I don't have to trim my juniper bushes so that's good

Deer are eating my emerald green arborvitaes. Going to replace them in the spring. I have 21 feet length by 7.5 wide space I need to fill with a natrual privacy fence. What species of juniper(s) would you recommend? Preferably 25 feet max height no lower than 20 as I have an elevated deck and like to maintain privacy while on the deck. I live in lower Michigan.

Juniper health (brown leaves) is susceptible to animal urine so don't use the juniper area as an outdoor toilet!. If cats/dogs gather there consider putting some odorous plants like onions/garlic or their peelings under the juniper to deter cats which don't like strong smells.

I would have to dig um all up and put them out in the yard because they don't look right up against the house
