Plus no one owns his/her car forever, eventually when you gonna sell the car you cannot find buyer to pick up the used hybrid or electric car. Absolutely no resale value

In Victoria, Australia, electric vehicles are taxed at three times the rate of petrol vehicles. A litre of petrol is rated at 9.1kwH. Electric vehicles use around (18.2 kwH) per 100 km (or better). The same car running on petrol and using 2 litres per hundred km would pay 2 x 42.7 cents in tax. I.e. 85.4 cents per hundred km. Instead, because the car uses electricity it is taxed at $2.50 per hundred km, almost three times the rate of the petrol car.

Well it can be see that premium ulp prices were used instead of standard 91 Ron. So what if and why aren’t we comparing the plug in hybrids and electric cars with car that just use regular unleaded, which is only at 113 cents per litre on Mondays now? ConEdison makes it to expensive to charge your car from home, if you add in all the fees and endless supply of taxes and you will pay $4.5 per KWH thats way more expensive than gas than gas!

The only way we can stop pollution and global warming as it is now is if we ALL switch to electric. What I mean is if you can afford it if you buy your next car it should be hybrid/electric. Doesn't have to be posh and flashy it can be cheap but at least its electric. The air will be much fresher and pollution will be much less
