If the long term partner has already checked out of the relationship as you suggest then just agreeing and moving on IS the correct answer. Yes it’s an emotional time but the SOONER you start to move on the sooner you can start healing. The “complicated” part is separating assets, property or anything else you have shared together.

Actually, it is pretty easy to say OK and walk away now with that being said there’s a lot of lonely nights in dark places, but my girl wanted to break up with me after a year I said OK and I never talk to her again just saying
