Old souls are people who have had many different lives which allows them to have different insights on life. Often old souls reference children that have exceptional knowledge. My daughter(who is 26 yrs old next month) learned to speak at a very young age so she was able to communicate things that most babies cannot.. when she was 10 months old, in a moment that I will never forget, and still makes me tear up when I tell anyone, told me out of the blue "I chose you"
I said"what? What do you mean?" She said "I chose you to be my mommy, before I was in your belly" we went back and forth like that for a few minutes, because I was so floored but also touched and grateful, it was hard to believe, I thought I couldn't have heard her right at first, but she made sure it was very clear and there was no mistaking her meaning. I know how unbelievable it sounds, but it is absolutely true, and I will never forget it. She went on to do many things and act like a much more mature enlightened person than most children, it was incredible, she has always made me feel so grateful and blessed to have been the person her soul chose to be her mother💜🌹🌺

As a young child at about 3 years old I was worried about death and spoke about reincarnation. My parents thought it was fascinating, as I've grown up I can see I have a taste in things that other teenagers don't, I would prefer to dress in old styled clothes, listen to classic music and also have a good connection with history and collect antiques also find it easier to connect with olders. My parents say as a nickname to me an "old soul" but recently it's really made alot of sense on how it's apart of my personality and who I am. I also have autism and being an old soul it's really made me have a really creative and imaginative mindset which I am quite mature and open minded as i grow in learning who i am and I couldn't be more happy and thankful to have the life I have and my family❤

It makes me wonder. What if some "old souls" don't have the typical empathetic, humanitarian wisdom introverted personality? What if some have been here for a long time, but have forgotten all their psychic powers due to the veil? And what if some "young souls" with not as much incarnation experience have "old soul" personalities and are lucky enough to retain past life memories? Since souls are ageless and time isn't linear over there, no one can really measure a soul's experience or "age." But perhaps the typical traits can give us clues to our inner natures. I am a skeptic, I have more faith in science than deities, but I remember my sister always reading books on reincarnation, and always calling me an old soul since I was a kid. She called me an old soul days prior to her death, so the other day I looked up, what is an old soul?, and I was blown away at the almost perfect description of me. One of my science hero's and atheist, Erwin Schrodinger once said that our consciousness could possibly be a "singular manifestation of a universal consciousness" sounds like what the spiritualist call oneness
