There's another side to this that's important to consider as well. When I was trying to find someone to date I (female) often ran into an issue where because I wasn't leaning into that immediate sexual gratification and wanted to actually get to know the other person, I was often ghosted as well. One example of this was a guy who stated on his profile that his favorite thing was starwars. I asked him to tell me about it and he ended up choosing to not and ghosting me because I wasn't offering that immediate gratification. I didn't want to flirt. I just wanted someone to tell me about something they loved.

The issue is that women offer immediate sexual gratification rather than meaningful bonds, yes. I don't deny that. But the issue is also that many men disengage from meaningful conversation in favor of pursing immediate sexual gratification. And the worst part is they feed into each other, incentivise each other, and punish those to seek meaningful connections. No wonder people lose hope when trying to date.

It's also very attractive when a guy shows you devotion and that he's very very attracted but doesn't want to ruin things by rushing them too in the sexual depsrtment. It shows selfcontrol

The problem is "dating".

When a person is doing something meaningful in their life, they're out doing that, and they'll meet other people in that activity, therefore immediately having a similar interest to build off of.

It's harder to "just date" because there's no background meaning to establish contact. You can use going out for drinks as a starting point, but the reality is that setting is flooded with people, women and men, only looking to satisfy base urges.
