Honestly, I find this behavior brought closure with a personal relationship ending. I texted him, "Did you decide that [disagreement] was a deal breaker?" He replied back quickly. I had the opportunity to clarify that my position was unchanged, and I learned that something else had triggered the ghosting. So then we had a clean break.
Not ideal for every relationship, but it worked here

I appreciate this advice. I’ve recently pivoted careers (yes, in my old age) I had my children very young and spent my 20’s and 30’s completely dedicated to being the best mother I could be for them. Now they are in college and I’m alone and able to focus on my goals, I figured I may as well pour some of that support and unconditional encouragement I’ve shown everyone else throughout my life, to myself for once. So, I can clearly use any/all tips. Yet, if someone does have an extra second or two, please say a quick prayer for me. I would genuinely appreciate it. If someone in a personal relationship is ghosting you, you need to meet new people. Sometimes relationships just end. I've done it to others and no matter what they do won't want me to be with them again. It's happened to me a few times too. I could become the most successful and amazing person .no way they are going to talk to me again.

I got ghosted exactly once... Decided I don't want to deal with that ever again, so I have exempted myself completely. It's a surefire way to guarantee to not have that happen again.

Been ghosted for nearly 72 hours. I deleted the number and blocked him.

If he was having trouble hurting my feelings or letting me down, I release him of all responsibility and will move on with my life.
