Kevin you’re seriously the best and my go to for hairloss videos. A few months ago I went through a second shed and you told me it’s normal and temporary. Well! Im more than happy to report those hairs came back 10 times fuller and thicker. Even my dermatologist said exactly what you said about how minoxidil and finasteride can cause shedding from time to time and it’s not a bad sign. If it wasnt for you I wouldnt have been able to save my hair so thank you very much dude!

I'll be honest I've been using Kev's videos as a sort of ASMR to fall asleep to. At 10-20mins they're also at a perfect length for that. Of course they're still great material condensed into a neatly presented package, but now I just have an extra reason to get excited when a new one comes out.

Ive been on propecia for years now, i havent seen any progression of hair loss, but i was considering avodart due to having heard proepcia loses efficacy after 5 years. This video convinced me to continue with propecia for now. Thanks for all the great info, kevin.

Have been on finasteride for almost 2 years now (have slowly titrated up to 1.25mg 5x a week). When I look at 1) photographs and 2) lost hair from washing my hair in the shower, I think it has basically stopped around 98% of my hair loss. No side effects. I started noticing hair loss at early 18 so I'm guessing my hair loss is quite aggressive. I even had somewhat significant thinning in the crown area at 20 or so, which has been almost completely reversed. The front of my hair line is still quite thin (I also have relatively thin hair so it makes it more noticeable anyway), but have started applying 1ml minoxidil / day to that area for around 1.5 months and it is already starting to fill in a bit more. Feels good man.

Used to find it quite embarrassing but I mentioned it in passing to my friends at the bar and they reacted to it quite casually, so I'm convinced I was stressing out over nothing. Have also talked to my brother about it and he's started taking a very low preventative dose of 0.5 mg 3x a week (going to slowly titrate him up to 1mg 3x a week over the next few weeks). Luckily his hair loss is quite a bit less aggressive than mine, so I'm expecting he'll be good for a while.

If it wasn't for channels like yours I probably wouldn't have "dared" to take fin at all. So many thanks. Have a preem week, Kevin.

Kevin the density I lost from the Finasteride shed is very slowly coming back, I have to really try and make it looks bad to expose the loss but it’s coming back!

Really appreciate this one. I was a NW2.5 when I started treatment and the people I open up to about my finasteride use almost never believe I actually had hair loss in the first place, and knowing this may well be lifelong is an absolute confidence boost.

Also, would you consider making a video on the Norwood scale? There's a lot of confusion going around the hair loss forums, with people seeing the line between 2 and 3 as blurred, or people typing themselves as NW2 because their temple points dipped slightly
