Fact check/reaction content from trusted, licensed/practicing physicians is so valuable on social media.
Too many high-impact media profiles go entirely unchecked. Thank you!

To many people think Huberman is right about everything . He's just a good speaker . Finasteride and minox is the basics . Then he throws a bunch of bs in between

Thanks a bunch! After recovering from COVID, I noticed that my hair was falling out more than usual. To tackle this problem, I made some positive changes in my lifestyle. I focused on improving my diet, ensuring that I consumed more protein and vitamins. Additionally, I started taking daily walks for at least 20 minutes to stay physically active and engaged in 10 minutes of meditation daily for stress relief. As part of my hair care routine, I used littleextra cocoonion hair oil twice a week, leaving it on for 5 hours before washing it off with littleextra natural mild shampoo and conditioner. I also started drinking amla juice in the mornings. I also made the decision to limit smoking and drinking, indulging only once a month for socializing. All these efforts resulted in a significant reduction in my hair fall. Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

I was on Minoxidil and spironolactone for just over a year. My dermatologist diagnosed me with trichodynia. I also have hashimotos. After a year I stopped taking both. I had very little results. Some, but not the 60% hair growth she said I'd get back. Great videos

Finasteride made me depressed and gave me su1c1de thoughts, I felt like I was not myself. Once stopped taking it I felt better.

When I experienced hair fall, I followed all these to effectively reduce it:
Incorporate scalp massage into your routine.
Do not use hot water when rinsing your hair.
Shield your hair from excessive sweat.
Use a wide tooth neem wood comb to brush out wet hair.
Decrease your sugar and processed food consumption.
Use natural anti hair fall shampoo and hair oil like littleeextra coccconion.
Maintain a positive mindset for general well being.

Following pregnancy, I noticed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I opted for a health-centered approach.
I took care of my diet, having vitamin-packed foods, especially those high in Vitamin E and Protein.
I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress management.
I avoided styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage.
I even started using LittleExttra's Coconion shampoo, hair oil along with a neem wood comb.
The outcome was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.

As someone who spent years researching hair loss treatments, has had a hair transplant - I can assure you, if you’re serious about stopping hair loss you will take finasteride or dutasteride. I started with fin. Then moved to dut and I take 2.5 mg a day for the last 6 years. My hair is better then ever.

Finally Minoxidil is not a sliding scale. 1mg suppresses approximately 60% but 1/2 mg suppresses about 50% and 1/4 mg suppresses about 46%. It's better to start with 1/4mg a day and titrate UP and than make a mess and try to dial it back. FURTHERMORE since Minoxidil takes several weeks to clear your system, unless you have aggressive hair loss in your 20's, you can absolutely take it every other day, further reducing possible side effects.

Three questions:
1. What about natural anti androgenics (plants and natural compounds)?
2. Does Dr Linkov have hair?
3. Do Finasteride, Dutasteride and Minoxidil increase pubic and facial hair?

I’m 22 and used to wear very tight pony tails for many years and now I have hair loss around the top corners of my face. I’m very insecure about it because I have very thick hair but it’s very thin in that area. I’m looking to fix it without medication because it’s very small right now, and I’m glad your channel is here to help me understand this topic!

You're right on IGF-1. I was on it last year and although I felt great and it made me a good bit stronger, I did also get a fair amount of hair loss.

What worked with me was saw palmetto. It totally stoped hair loss 15 years ago with 2500mg daily. I am now over a year on oral minoxidil 5mg and finasteride 1mg . They work just fine. No hair loss. I can see also marginal improvement in hair thickness.
