Currently on 0.5mg of Finasteride Monday/Wednesday/Friday. No side effects. Also using minoxidil everyday. Starting to see regrowth along my hairline

I've been on 0.25mg of Propecia daily, for over two years. I combine that with red light laser, bought a helmet for 1000 bucks. I was thinning but now I got probably like 80-90 percent of my hair back. Zero side effects noticed.

This guy (of course Russell too) is absolutely on the ball. 1mg 3-4 times a week seems to be having the same good effect for me as 1mg per day.

I take Finastride 3 times a week. I'm fine with that, I don't wish to take it daily.

I don't think the side effects are as low as studies say for 1mg Fin. It works great, but me and my friend were on Fin about the same time, and we both developed the same sides, just about 2 months apart. That's definitely not the 2-3% chance listed on paper.

2:00 "The half life is 28 days"
So can we take finasteride daily in the begining (loading phase) and then take one pill every 28 days (maintenance phase)?

A 10 day break from finasteride really helped me, to be honest. You can just feel when you have too much of it in your system.

Am I a unicorn? I feel fine on it after 12 months. Zero issues at all. In fact more libido. Boners hard as hell. Wake with them too. Zero depression (I do exercise intensely 6 days per week). My 12 month routine has been as follows; 1 mg Fin 7x per week. Minoxidil 5% foam/liquid 1-2 times a day post shower. Deem roll 1 x per week. Hope this helps someone

Thank you for this video, buy your information is confusing. At about 2:00, you say the half live of finasteride is 28 days, then beginning about 3:24 you say it should be washed out of your system after a couple weeks. How can I be the only person who noticed this?

I just found your channel and subscribed immediately. I’ve been taking finasteride and minoxidil with Nizoral shampoo for 13 years, beginning to show signs of hair loss again. I’m wondering if it could be because I use nicotine gum and if nicotine seems to have any impact on male pattern hair loss? (Tobacco-free nicotine products such as vaping, lozenges, etc) Can you please address that in your next episode?

Thank you Dr Jayaprakash. What about taking a break from foam minoxidil? Is it the same that it can be done or will it be not recommended to do?
Thank you for the great advice and your channel. 😊

There has been a lot of talk about Nanoxidil being a better option then Minoxidil. Is this actually worth using or can you use both since they are similar acting but different in ways they stimulate hair growth? Thanks
