People talking about the Peugeot 206 sounding like s rally car is because the 1.4L TU3JP engine was developed in the 80s for The Citroen AX GTi for rally, its an actual engine developed for rally.
The 206 got it in 1998 when it was obsolete for racing but still good enough for civilian use.
