Guy recording the video is probably the owner. Tears welling up as Scotty roasts him to his face.

imagine bringing ur truck to scotty, thinking he's going to review it and say it's a great truck.

Losing aerodynamics is the last thing about lifting your truck losing gas mileage. The increase in weight and diameter of the wheels and tires is what really kills your gas mileage.

You left out all the women calling you nonstop asking for rides, and all the guys trying to give you high fives and patting you on the back.

I love getting blown all over the road personally… Scotty should try it sometime and maybe he would stop hating on lifted trucks.

I would not mind if scotty roasted any of my cars, at least I would know what to look out for and how to fix it when it started to lay down on me

He’s not wrong. My truck is lifted because I love it and it’s badass, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its issues. Another thing to note is that if you buy a cheap lift kit with spacers or whatever, the geometry gets all messed up and can take out your balls joints / suspension components. A nice BDS generally handles this with no worries, but for the brands that just help you get higher, you’re in for a ride

I could never lift my truck as I'm not strong enough to do that...

The thing that bothers me with lifted trucks and big mud tires is that 99% of the people who own/drive them never even go off road.

luckily for me I don't drive a truck for gas mileage or to take corners like an F1 car

Not to mention the ones that are squatted! LoL

I don’t think anyone lifting their trucks care about any of the common sense points you brought up… they don’t do it for the practicality of it… they do it because they like it. It’s a personal preference…

I once had a girl tell me I needed to lift my truck and take off my step rails. I’m like hmmm so lift my truck so I can’t haul a gooseneck with my equipment on it and take off the step rails so my handicap dad can’t go with me anymore? Makes sense if you don’t wanna make money and can’t stand your folks. Thank god I’m married, my wife don’t give a s***.

Along with bigger tires comes faster front end wear as well. And depending on how and who installed it. Drivetrain issues as well.
Good video👍👍

I had a friend leave work on a monday to buy new tires and rims. He missed the rest of the workweek because he didn't have enough money for gas.

As soon as Scotty saw the truck roll up, he started rubbing his hands like Birdman.

Military Humvees are not lifted like that and they can handle almost any type of terrain. It's just a stupid thing to do to a truck.
