Our KA is UNSTOPPABLE! Last time we took normal cars on an off-road trail, two of them died. So we're back with the KA to give it another go - but this time we are comparing it to a 4X4 L200 pickup - to see how good it really is!

What that KA deserves is a proper shine up. It did so well. Give it a good cleanup, new bumpers and some race mods. Then race it against the Bananaru :D

I wondered why we didn't get the KA in the US. I'm commonly told it's because it's specifically for the overseas market, but i now realize. It would simply be too powerful when compared to our trucks and it would dominate the auto market here. 😆

This absolutely deserves a proper offroad build now. Some of the bits from the spec rally series like the limited slip diff, uprated driveshafts and CV's, an probably the cage. Give it a bit more of a lift with better travel if you can, some skid plates, modifications so the tires don't scrub, and some more offroad friendly tires while you're at it. Thing would embarrass some serious machines.

That KA is epic! I haven't ridden in it, but it sure has put a metric ton of smiles per mile on my face. It's a shame we never got them in the US.

I remember my mum having one of these when they came out, and I loved borrowing it, and my daughters first car was one of these, bought for 100 quid. I used to grab her keys if I was popping across my local country bends as you could just have fun in them. Dive a 10/10ths feeling you're doing 100 when doing 40, something you just can't do in even a 200bhp car on our small roads.
