Apocalypses Rated Off Road Trailer Featuring Bear Spray Cannons, Air Purifier, Bullet Proof Glass!

Mammoth Overland has created what can only be described as a preppers dream trailer. The base model Mammoth Overland Trailer was already extremely cool and capable, but with a 2 inch lift and larger 33 inch mud terrains, the E.L.E towers over the original HV trailer. But what's even more impressive is that the trailer was built to withstand the gnarliest of apocalypses! The trailer utilized submarine doors which provide a sealed cabin which is pressurized with purified air. A drone hatch on the roof deploys a surveillance drone while a 360 boom camera allows you to monitor the parameter from the tv provided in the cabin of the trailer. The new command module interior allows users to optimize their storage and service for weeks off grid. Heated water blankets prevent your water stores from freezing while an instant propane water heater quickly heats water to comfortable shower temps. There is almost too much to list on this incredible off grid trailer, you will just have to see it to believe it!

Exactly what I want in an apocalypse, a bright neon orange trailer, so others can spot me from 10 miles away.

Apocalypse rated but with an outdoor kitchen? Makes sense.

Awesome! Bullet proof glass and “submarine doors” on a trailer with walls that wouldn’t stop a round from a handgun. Brilliant.

I would love to see them take this concept and incorporate it in a van build. That would be awesome to see

I don't know if this is the coolest thing I've ever seen or the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Either way I can tell a lot of hard work and imagination was put into this thing.

So in an extinction level event just remember you won’t be able to eat, drink, or use the bathroom. Welcome to your $70k coffin 🤣

They got those year 2100 bulletproof windows but then add some cheap top hatch from home depot for $20 :D

One thing i love about this trailer is the Medkit installed outside, it is fun to get it while zombies or bad individuals are outside😂😂😂😂😂

I feel like this just makes you a target in a SHTF event

This looks dope, but the hinges being on the outside really reduce your security. Is power required to bring the filtered air in? If so, what is the backup B and C if something goes wrong with the air intake/power system? Do you just suffocate? Also, really seems like you should be providing a dedicated monitor for the 360 camera with a laptop plugin being optional. If you have to go outside to access the kitchen, you should be running a water line in so you can hydrate if you have to lock yourself in for whatever reason. Would definitely extend your survival timeline. Is there any insolation, or do you just cook in an oven if the sun is out, assuming you cannot run the AC at the moment? When you first mentioned a drone-launch from inside I was excited, thought you would have a sealed compartment you could access from inside, close/seal, send out, and launch your drone, like a micro-airlock. If you have to open a hatch, it negates the entire seal. Is the entire steel shell bullet-proof? If not, once again, bulletproof glass is cool, but the entire rest of the trailer will be your weak point. Bear spray canisters are a cool idea, but your spray radius is extremely limited, with no apparent method to adjust aim. You just have to pray the man/animal/entity walks directly into the line of fire.

Idk guys, it's a cool trailer, and has more hardcore features than most, but calling it Extinction Level Event seems extremely inappropriate. Unless all of these questions have a solid answer, I'd say the design team really missed on what an extinction level event would be.

Take it from someone who has camped in the woods many times. The last thing you want in a SHTF apocalypse situation is to have your sleeping area clearly seen from a distance.

I would put a dark brown tarp over my tent, and paint it with flat (no gloss) multiple shades of charcoal gray and brown spray paint to match the colors around me, and surround it with dead branches. You could be literally 20-30 feet from my tent and not know it was there

In the winter when the leaves were gone, I could see a small red or blue plastic cup in the woods from over 100 yards away because of the unnatural color contrast

Your florescent orange trailer will be seen from many hundreds of yards away, and eventually be stolen and/or vandalized. You should offer a camouflaged version of your trailer, or include a camouflaged net that goes over it

I would never use your flame orange trailer in the woods for that reason alone

What happens when the air purification pump stops working at night while you are sleeping. Since it water tight inside, is there any sensor alarming you that you are going to be out of oxygen?

As a former Naval submariner, I have NEVER seen a square door. The fact that bolts for the door hinge are on the outside is very unprotective.

Looks cool, just a bit claustrophobic for my liking, but in a SHTF situation you need to ignore that. At least its paint job is super inconspicuous so that the zombies and raiders can't easily spot you in the bush.

Biggest issue for me is if you walk away for 10 minutes, all the stuff mounted on the outside is gone. So many crooks out there.

In the apocalypse, stealth is going to be as important as everything else.

You went with orange.

Gotta love it.
