Airbus A350 more than a paint problem?

Qatar Airways are not settle in the issue about surface paint problem on the airline's A350 jets from Airbus. The carrier says the damage poses a safety risk, but Airbus claims the paint issue is only "cosmetic."

The luxurious Airbus A350 offers the ultimate passenger experience even on the longest of flights. It’s innovative design delivers a true feeling of spaciousness, with wide seats, high ceilings, super fast wifi, high quality camera view from the outside, and alluring ambient lightning.

The first Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000 models was delivered February 2018. The aircraft consuming 25% less fuel and can fly more than 11.000 miles/17.000 kilometers range without refuel, flying more than 22 hours nonstop from New York to Sydney.

The competitor Dreamliner 787-10 from Boeing entered it’s first service April 2018 and are the most similar comparison also consuming 25% less fuel than models before and can fly for more than 9.500 miles/15.000 kilometers range without refuel, flying more than 17 hours nonstop from Los Angles to Singapore.

Several pilots opinion are that the general feeling flying the Airbus A350 are more comfortable in terms of features and actually slightly better space in the flight deck than the 787-10 from Boeing.

The A350 are the first large commercial aircraft to be constructed extensively from carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP). CFRP is more durable as it doesn't corrode to the same extent as traditional aluminium.

Qatar Airways claims Airbus is wrongly trying to offer new jets for delivery, while Airbus claims the airline has broken its contract by refusing to take more A350s and is revoking orders for undelivered aircraft one by one, as they are built.
