Fixed one of these last week, a sonic version I got for 5 on vinted. I soldered a new spring to it. Boom working fine :D

The trick is to bolt the ball over the bridge just as the two sides are about to align, it was quite easy for any kid that played computer games as a child (All about timing).

If you put an old vintage battery by the modern equivalent a massive difference in size. They also done a small version handheld but it's quite big and wind up. Look up an old everyready battery old vintage bike lights also don't work with new batteries tinfoil to close the gaps
