Panic Knots. High Tension.

This is a knot you can still untie after heavy weight or force is placed on it. The original video shows "two big wraps, two little wraps". This version is "3 big wraps, two little wraps". It's a variation of the Anchor Bend or Fishermen's Bend. Thanks for stopping by. #ropetutorial #knot

Nice touch at the end, props for leaving things as good as or better than you found them. Learned that lesson in Boy Scouts.

Appreciate this panic knot series you have going on. Can't wait for the next addition of 4 or more wraps!

Attention to detail there at the very end. Above and beyond. Well done, sir.

This is a "simple" and very good knot. Thank you! And you painted the post! Good man.

Thanks, my 5yo has a knot book (why knot?) and we have been learning knots together. This is a hard knot, easy to tie, releases after loading what else? 5 stars.

This is pretty cool, and very close to an anchor bend.

i think the trick to avoid the jam when tightening the knot is to ensure the wraps are on the wrist side. If they were on the finger tip side, they jam more easily when the knot gets tightened and dressed.

Попробовал этот узел при буксировке, понравился. Освоил до автоматизма, буду применять.

Once again another awesome educational video.

Will a bowline knot do the same thing? Btw, that's so cute you painted after doing your test. I can't imagine very many people would have been so thoughtful/responsible.

I was going to, jokingly, reply that I will be reporting your vandalism of stripping paint off of posts... I'm glad I watched the whole video before posting. 😁🤣👍

I like the the knot content, for sure. BUT, I 'liked' the video for the painting of the ballard, at the end

What is the simplest knot that will hold up to breaking strength of rope. Yet still easy to release? Thank you for your help

A new one on me, thanks. But what advantage over bowline? Or, when and where is it better?
