When you migrate to GA4, there is no reason for you to lose your Universal Analytics data forever. There is also no reason for you to learn to use a data warehouse to store it in. Oh and let's face it, Google Sheets really isn't built for storing huge amounts of data. But don't worry, there's another way...

In this video, learn:
1. Why it's important for a marketer to store their Universal Analytics data after it is deprecated
2. How you can store it forever without using Google BigQuery
3. What kind of dashboards you should start building for Google Analytics 4

00:00-00:42 Introduction
00:43-02:59 Why you should want to have access to historical Google Analytics data
03:00-05:37 If there's a best way, what are my other options?
05:38-11:03 The best way to store historical Universal Analytics data without using Big Query

The feature in the video mentioning historical UA data doesn't go away ever. I'm curious what the field on the "Plans and Prices" page labeled: Data history showing only 2 years. Is this something separate?

Can we continue running Universal Analytics reports with Google analytic extension on in Google Sheets even after Universal Analytics is permanently deleted in the future? (e.g. potentially 6 months after July 1st, 2023)

Google Analytics says "You can export session and hit data from a Google Analytics 360 account to BigQuery, and then use a SQL-like syntax to query all of your Analytics data." Seems only Google Analytics 360 users can export to Bigquery, is that right?
