This video walks through a #GA4 Migration tool. If you will be moving from GA3 to GA4 and have a large number of events to migrate, this video will be helpful.
The tool is a Google Sheets developed by Ben Kuehn, a Google software engineer. It reads from, and writes to, your GTM container(s).
Use this tool if:
- You’re doing all tracking through GTM
- You have a large number of GA3 events to migrate (10+), or
- You have a large number of GTM containers you need to migrate (e.g. you’re an agency)
