What does this mean "A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies and that you will be contacted if additional information is needed" for a drop box visa for B1/B2 visa?

My medical was late after interview so I was refused, however it was sent over on the 1st of this month and we got approved on the 2nd. Ever since the 2nd our CEAC have been saying approved.
How long do you think we’ll have to wait until it gets issued?

My case has been refused for about a 1yr and 3 months. I've been very stressed and depressed and not knowing what to do anymore. My lawyer is no help to me which I payed him in full.

They turned my passport to me and others documents with a a letter stating why I didn't mention spouse child children. But we don't have a child yet

Hello sir, why does ceac shows the message that all your documents are received and approved and consular officer refuse the visa after the interview asking for additional financial documents? Also the officer didnot mention anything on what to do next? Should i wait to hear from them thru email/CEAC message or upload new financial documents right away in ceac for further processing? what does it mean by officer has adjudicated and refuse your visa? Its so much hassle that these officers doesnot explain anything at all. Also my refusal paper doesnot have administrative processing ticked and my passport was given to me right after the interview. My visa class is IR5. Many thanks from Kathmandu, Nepal. Looking forward.

Hello, had my IR1 interview on 26/3/24, consular office took my passport n asked to DHL them one additional document. Which I did 8 days after. They sent me an email on Friday that says my passport is ready to pick up but still refused on ceac status.

Gave an interview a year ago, my process went from administrative processing to refused to expiring soon. Why is it long time to get any decision. I am a single mother unmarried. But while my parents filed my petition I was single with kid. Now I have a child but legally not married in my country. is it the reason why US embassy is not giving me any decision?

I had an interview today, 10-9-24, i answered all the questions well, had all the docs, after that the consuler gave me a 221g letter, it has AP checked and Passport through courier checked, can you please tell me what does it mean and how long it can take them to respond?

So I did my interview at my embassy, they told me that my visa was approved and they took my passport. One month later, I checked my status and it says it was refused. I am really in a panic because this is my fourth time requesting a J1 visa and I have never had any problems before. Also, I have not received any email or information from the embassy. It is really frustrating waiting for an answer. I hope they give me any answer before the start day of my summer camp.

My is an immigrant visa, from Africa, Liberia.
My interview was June 27th 2023, which was done ✅ but my medical wasn’t ready.
My medical came in, and I summited it on August 28th of this year with my passport and after three days they send my husband mail asking 20plus questions and we responded the next, through mail.
And after 14days they send another mail to my husband that the program had been terminated.
And when I visited the visas status check my case is refused, with one person ready.

My next question is, can the principal applicant be refused and the child be ready?
Anyway we’re family of five.
