Thanks Sir for these informational tips. So my relative tried explaining and talking to the visa officer during the interview, but was dismissed so quick, as soon as the DENIED answer was given on their request for a non immigrant visitor visa. Unfortunately, this happened on couple different occasions, 1st time they requested to come attend a graduation, and the 2nd time to attend a wedding, and was denied on both times under the 214b visa. My relative has absolutely no intention to stay in the US due to the fact they have a great job and great living situation in their home country and would not give it up to start from scratch without any assurance they will have the job in the US.
I find this to be a complicated matter and even wonder the visa officer knows the applicant well to determine if he (she) should grant the US visa when they don’t even take the time to talk or listen to them.
