Hi Mark, I am so happy that I have found your channel. The best on internet regarding this topic. The puzzle is complete. I am suffering 12 years with these problems. My husband seems that he is an ASD but he doesn't want to get a diagnosis. I am the one who changed 5 psychologists in order to check what wrong is with me. Only one said 8 years ago the possibility that my man has Asperger's syndrome. I thought what's that? I couldn't find many info then. I watched all your videos and I recognize everything what is there described. Finally we get a divorce!! I am following a psychotherapy to overcome all the traumas and ask myself why do I stay to a such situation!! I wanted still to try but my psychologist advices me to go on. For me was an ethical issue. Do you leave theses persons alone? She said yes..if they do not take their responsibility to do sth. She says that I am not their mum neither they psychologist. I am still very sad to breakup knowing that he is like this and can't change!! Thank you for sharing the videos!

This is exactly why my arranged marriages never worked out since I’ve had both meltdowns and shutdowns.

What if he shuts down every time someone says something he doesnt like, but in stressful situations he's able to handle that with ease. Isn't it selective then?
Edit...
To avoid conflict or accountability in any way? It seems to me it's much easier to run away and never deal with anything, and that's what they do. Can you please help me to understand why this is acceptable in a relationship?

Hi 👋🏾 do you think people with autism should take responsibility for a meltdown? What are your thoughts 💭 on this? Thank you 🙏
