Ok, enough is enough. We would really rather have these reporters be safe than forcing them to be out in ridiculous weather conditions! You could have remote cameras and have them voice overlay. It’s also hypocritical to insist people leave the area yet have your own staff stuck there.

I would think Anderson Cooper has put in enough time at this point to not have to be out in it anymore. Wild. Honestly, no one should be out in it.

I went to school with Victor Blackwell. He used to do our morning announcements and give us our school news in High School. lol None of us are surprised he's on TV.

Officials: “if you stay here, you will die.”
News reporter: “falling cranes? Flying road signs? Yup, we’ll setup shop here.”

I have absolutely no idea what is going on unless I see a reporter in the rain. Thank you CNN, thank you Anderson, thank you Bill. God bless your wet cheeks.

The fact Anderson Cooper is still doing storm chasing reporting is mindblowing.

I find that so ridiculous when reporters are outside during a hurricane just to say : yep so there is water, rain and a lot of wind"...like we didn't know that already...Get your ass back inside now

I’m downtown St Pete right now, heard the crane fall last night but couldn’t see from the crazy wind and rain. I’m 2 blocks away. Still got power.

Why do you keep having reporters in the rain and storm? That's so dumb. But I have to say that I'm impressed how good the microphones work under these conditions.

I believe for the body of work that Andersen Cooper has provided over the years there’s no reason he should be standing in the mist of a hurricane to report the news at this point in his career. He has at least earned that. Maybe he volunteered for the assignment?

Having reporters in this “ life threatening “ situation is idiotic and unfair to rescuers.
