So many people are so brave. First responders, cops, tanker drivers driving into the storm, hospital personnel, so many more. God Bless everyone.

It's nice watching people just leaving in an orderly fashion and not tooting their horns and being aggressive.

PLEASE, KEEP ANIMALS AND INFANTS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES. An infant of 8 moths was found in NCa wondering ALONE this week. Please, take your animals with you and get very far from the coast and above in mountains far from lakes, rivers etc.

I’ve been trapped without power for over a week three times now, once by a freak ice storm in the NW, once by a freak snowstorm in California and twice by fire in Montana and California. We were prepared, with lamps and wood stoves for heat and plenty of water. It was like comfortable camping. But a flood would be miserable. And being without AC and working toilets in Florida heat would be dangerous. Good luck Florida. I sent some money to a relief organization. If everyone sends a bit, we can help you clean up afterwards!

I wish everyone heeds the warnings, the first responders have families that need them.

The road out is full, in is empty...why they didn't open one lane on the opposite side? Not very smart!

I remember being the the same area for hurricane Ian..on vacation. 1 day before we were supposed to leave, they declared a state of emergency and stopped all fights. What a horrible experience. But it was nice to see how everyone was so helpful and kind.

Should have a national evacuation plan instead of leaving to individual family clogging up the escape route.

What about the people that don’t have cars or the resources to leave the area
