Lol one time I pre-moved my last move with two queens against just a king and stalemated. Hikaru and I are pretty equal I'd say.

I thought this was impressive until I watched a second time and realized all of the premoves started after it was reduced to a king/pawn endgame for bethbot where basically nothing can move. There’s more impressive Hikaru premove finishes out there.

He's able to do this cause he sets up a "wall" by controlling all the key squares on the 5th and 6th rank so he knows that his opponents king can't go anywhere that would cause problems. Then he can just move all his other pieces wherever he wants without worry

The only thing he kinda does in the first part is taking the 3 locked pawns with the quickest possible way - but the way and the speed he does that is so awesome to see
