For everyone to understand,

His first 2 moves threatened a checkmate that forces the black's pawn to move in order to open the space to escape when checked.

Capturing the knight would not be favourable because the bishop can move to the exact spot played in the video and since the pawns haven't been promoted, they are blocked by a waiting to capture bishop, and the white king can guide his pawns to a promotion.

The bishop's check threatened both king and queen, so its either capture knight but lose the queen or capture the bishop. Both ways block the black's pawn(s), thus White wins due to promotion being possible for white

Edit: Exactly like he said :D

Last Edit: What happens if instead of Pawn to A2 black pushes pawn from g7 to g5 first, blocking the king from moving up to protect the coming to check bishop?

White Bishop will then go to F6 instead, threatening the 2 black pawns in the a and b column. Black King cannot move to h7 or g6 because both paths are threatened by the knight, and g7 is threatened by the bishop, and the g5 pawn blocked the king, so the solution is to move the b pawn, the g pawn or the h pawn, but any of those solutions will eventually result in the a and b pawns being captured by the bishop or a push to a promoted queen since black king can't move, thus white wins either way.
