Instructions on how to complete a Turkish Get Up, as part of Wellki's comprehensive exercise video library.

Steps:

1. If starting from a standing position -- raise a kettlebell or dumbbell above your head with one arm.

2. Step backwards with one leg, and slowly kneel down; keeping the weight above your head the entire time.

3. Leaning to the side of the leg lunge, place a hand on the ground to brace yourself (again, keeping the arm with the weight above you).

4. Shifting your weight onto the arm on the floor, move your leg forward, between the bracing arm and the opposite leg.

5. Slowly come to a seated position, weight still above your head, and extend the leg out in front of you.

6. Lay down fully, except for the weight still above your body.

7. Repeat as many times as necessary.

8. Switch arms to complete the exercise using the other side of the body.
