Wow, I thought Stutter Edit was another piece of abandonware by iZotope. I’d love to see them update Iris as well, as it’s a bit buggy.

This is a seriously deep effect that would allow you to create ridiculously complex arrangements of modulations, but I just don't think I'd ever get round to being patient enough with it, like so many plugins I have. And I wouldn't want to just rely on using the presets, that would feel a bit too much like cheating. If I had the patience to dedicate a few weeks to learning it properly, it would be an insane tool to have. The price is fair enough for what it can do, but I couldn't afford it at the moment.

The original was a beast so this has got me intrigued. It can do a lot more than cheesy stuttering effects. The trick is to use it creatively rather than as a gimmick you turn to when you're uninspired....

DAMN! I installed the latest version of Stutter Edit yesterday after years of not using it! Guess I will have to buy the update right away, this is awesome.

I've had Stutter Edit for years. It is a cool effect for glitching up your tracks and it's cool because you automate it by drawing MIDI notes. Not sure if I'm really itching for a new version. Honestly given the price I paid for the original this update should be free. Don't think I'll be paying for it.

This UI is much better than the first version. Watching all these youtube videos of people hamfisting their way through presets is pretty painful. Each key note is replacing a ton of automation work for interest, variations, and builds. Take some time to get to know it instead of using it like a happy accident preset machine where more times than not you'll find it's not blowing your mind at every key press. I think the new UI goes a long way in helping you to better understand and program it.
