How to use iZotope Stutter Edit 2 Midi Mode for Vocals!

Today I'm going to show you how to quickly setup iZotope Stutter Edit 2 in Midi mode and use it for vocal slicing. It's pretty straight forward but there is one thing I stumbled upon which if you're having trouble with setting that up hopefully this has the answer for you.

Cool song! How do you mute the output when MIDI notes AREN'T playing? Like if I'm wanting to do an occasional transition stutter on a lead vocal, I only want to hear the track when I play a MIDI note. By default, SE2 will play the vocals dry when a MIDI note isn't playing. ....gotta be a simple SE2 or Ableton solution (without manually automating track volume).

Great content man. I have the Console Fader coming to me in the mail. Question for you (Ableton): do you now include the VST3 on your default audio and midi tracks in your default template? Or do you manually add the plugins to each track when you move from production mode to mixing mode (assuming that is your workflow)? Also, what are the simple steps for recording automation (e.g., levels) in arrangement view when "riding the faders" on the Console Fader? That is what I most looking forward to when I get it up and running. Presumably I will also be able to record automations for drive, color, EQ, panning etc?

What would you say is the best way to record these FX into your track? Resampling? I'd love to be able to select certain sections that would trigger the effect instead of having to capture it live.

What's your opinion about MTM monitors? Is there any bass in them? How the track is translated on the other speakers after mixing on them?

This is my take. The effects with maybe the exception of the TT stop really didn't impress me. This is bad because I just bought this. I could see using this on background vocals but lead effects, I'd be a bit concerned if this is the best the plugin can do.
