Some of my favorites for an OEM build are the GTX 1650 Super, RTX 2060 Super, and the RTX 4060 Low Profile, depending on the build.

That 6-pin connector you showed in the pic before Amazon pic was a proprietary HP connector that doesn't work anywhere else without modifications

Had an rx570 running in an old office pc, it ran alr for most games in 1080p. Recently upgraded to an rtx 4070, I love it.

If you want an oem for your gpu. I honestly recomend the lenovo think stations. I went through the process of ordering one of those for work and you dont get ripped off. The build is solid. It has airflow and you can still customise it however you like. We honestly discussed not ordering a gpu along with it but decided against it. Would recomend overal.

A great OEM option is the HP z440, it comes with a 700 watt or 500 watt power supply (depending on the model) and since it's a server PC the dual 6 pin connectors can actually hold more wattage then a normal 6 pin, so you can get a 6 to 8 pin adapter like me and run it just fine, for context I've been running an RTX 3060 TI for well over 6 months now with legit 0 issues

Specifically for those adapters, to be safe i would recommend a 2x Sata to 6 pin, 1x molex to 6 pin and 2x molex to 8 pin to be on the safe side. This lines up with how many watts the connectors can output/recieve

I use dual Molex because Molex can carry a higher voltage than SATA, so I feel a little safer doing that

I just bought a Gigabyte GT1030 GDDR5 passive off of eBay. I needed a low profile and low power one. Plus the CPU is a G2120 soooo

If the case's airflow sucks, like in many office pcs, consider a blower-style gpu. It helps move more air outside of the case in a way that most 2 or three fan cards won't.

If you have good airflow already, feel free to choose whatever arrangement you think would work best.

disclaimer: I'm no expert and have limited experience with pc building.

I have a 1050 Ti paired with a 4th gen i7 in a Lenovo SFF office PC, and it even runs Payday 3!

Swapping out the power supply in general is a good idea, the stock ones aren't great. If things aren't fitting, swap out the case for more room!

Also if it can fit a full-size or midsize GPU, upgrade the PSU. My first gaming pc was an HP Pavilion HPE H8 1158 and it had enough room for a full length GPU. I upgraded the PSU and put in a GTX660 back in 2012 to replace the low end dedicated graphics. Everything is a day and night difference. No more lag spikes, and better picture quality.

I bought dell refurb and add gpu, replaced the ssd and increase the ram. Best bang for the buck for my kid who only play genshin roblox and minecraft

lmao those sata to pcie power adapters are a screaming fire hazard

This, but use a Ryzen 4070 or a Ryzen 4080 would be so good. You could even ditch the CPU that comes with the OEM

For that last part you could just get a 16x Riser Cable and make a bracket modification to mount the card vertically.
