new design and parts every two/three years means less tested parts which leads to less reliable parts not to mention that it'll be harder to scavenge used spare parts.
my 2022 890 Duke had the following issues within the first 3000KM
1- ABS Module failure (corrupted EEPROM)
2- leaky left fork seal.
3- moisture in the right turn signal.
4- oil leak from the cylinder head gasket.

you need to focus on making new revisions of your existing parts and have a more strict QC.

I'd rather see KTM focus on reliability. Keep the same model and make slight tweaks year over year to increase reliability. Also hire someone to fix your electrical issues. I wonder if there is going to be a 990 Adventure as well?

Two things for anyone thinking about buying this thing. Just wait…….. KTM reliability has been lacking, wait to see what issues others are having with it. Second, they’ll just release a better specd R variant in no time, don’t get caught regretting being the first with a 990 just to miss out on a better more refined version.
