For less money you get the MT-09 SP with a beautiful tripple, brembo brakes and Ohlins rear shock, and much better looks, not to mention reliability. It actually makes more sense for the MT-09 SP to be priced the way KTM is priced, and for KTM to be priced the way the MT09 is priced.

For 13k I'd expect the tech pack, so really you're looking at 14k....for a middleweight ktm !!! 😮

Don't say that it's OK to charge customers for what they allready own.

All the electronic are allready on the bike but behind a paywall. That's not something people should be okay with. That the car industry does it too is no reason to justifie it. It just feels like ripping people off

Sorry but KTM you need to chill down. You pushing out new models like i'm changing underwear . Depreciation is massive . A hole new bike every 3 year. 790(17-20), 890(2020-2023), 990(2024-2027). But still there engine/electronic quality issues. Sort them out before cranking out even more iterations.

I really struggle to see any kind of value for money in this one. It’s not only way more expensive than its japanese competitors, but it’s also priced way above a comparable Ducati (!?!) (basic Monster). Since when is KTM more premium than Ducati?

Personally I love the orange colour scheme KTM uses on its bikes and the very out there styling. The bike looks a lot of fun to ride. Tech packs aren't a problem for me- don't like it get a vespa.

Is the fueling bad like the 1290? Where upon corner entry as you roll off you feel this surging?

I got the joys of taking one of these bikes out yesterday over at ironcity motorcycles gateshead and WOW what a bike .. I rode the bike in track throttle and medium wheely and I have to say it's a beast definitely one to buy the performance from the get go is amazing

I hated the new headlight when I saw pictures of it but then I saw the bike in real life and it actually looked hideous and cheap.

It’s not as good as the outgoing 890 Duke R, worse brakes, substantially heavier, but much more cost…. Emperor’s new clothes?

I think the MT-09 or Street Triple RS or maybe even the new Z900 makes more sense than this motorcycle.
