This is the main scene (Joker hammering the judge) for why I was curious to watch the sequel despite bad reviews. It seemed I would finally see Joker at his prime, after all development Arthur received in the first movie. I've got so disappointed when I realized it was just Arthur's delirium...

I wonder how much of these scenes are "real" and how much of it just takes place in his head. I would hate to think it is just a Shutter Island scenario and the movie is technically pointless. There were scenes in the first movie he imagined and the trailer seems to use color tone to differentiate the two realities, but that's mostly just a theory.
