Hi geek climber. I have never gone rock climbing but I still watch ur vids. I am a basketball player and know a lot about vertical jump. Some tips I can give you are to work on your jump mechanics. Use a large arm swing, it will increase vert by a few inches. When you are doing the jump rope don’t take that little hop in between. Try to minimize ground contact time and think of springing off the ground. Also for your final vert test try to bend your torso down more, that will engage your hip extension muscles which are the main ones for vert. For the decent try to go down quicker. Think of using your feet to attack the ground then jump. I hope this helps you. I love ur vids and you will be jumping out the gym in no time

I’ve been following you for a while, but never realized that you’re Taiwanese! Hi from another Taiwanese American climber! I did my first two V4s in an indoor gym right before the pandemic hit, and your videos definitely help me get through the slog of quarantine life. Thanks for doing what you do, and keep it up!

Love seeing your progress videos! Also I'm new at climbing, your videos help me a lot to get better at climbing. Keep them videos coming, even if it's just your training or "train along with me" kind of videos, I'd be thrilled to watch them

Thanks for sharing this process! I only started box jumps not long ago. This gives me more motivation to keep at it and also document it. One of my many weakness in climbing is dyno😆 hope this can help.

Your channel is very inspirational, it would be nice to see you keep trying other types of training to supplement your climbing

This is great! Now I'm really interested in how much you can improve your jump in a few days just by refining your technique!

It's great to see your form improved so much in the second attempt! I also can't jump, I do that weird body and knees tensing thing that makes it hard to gain height! But will also start jump training! Not much else to do now ✌️
