I'm attempting to ride a train from Montana to Minneapolis to go to a Minnesota Vikings game. This is the first time I have ever hitched a ride on a freight train and trying to learn how to be a train hopping hobo.

train hopping to an NFL game? I'm a die hard NFL fan who loves watching freight hopping videos, this is the crossover I didn't know I needed

My friend and I hopped freighters at age 17 in 1971. We left from the Los Angeles freight yard and a week later arrived in Colorado, our destination. We changed trains many times and were kicked off many times as well. We rode in gondolas, flat cars, box cars, and one occasion we rode in an automobile carrier loaded with new cars. We climbed to the top deck and sat in a brand new automobile. Fun times.

the "last train I was on was a little different" joke was terrific, great video!

That metro ride sounded terrifying. Not sure how this video got recommended to me, but I think you've hit the algorithm my guy.

The Joy on your face when the train started moving again was priceless

the insane juxtaposition from the first train ride being "illegal" but serene and beautiful to the second train ride that is legal being scary and not peaceful is wickedly poetic. beautiful stuff

Couldn’t really care less about NFL, or trains for that matter. In all honesty, I don’t know how I’ve ended up here. BUT, I really enjoyed this! 🤣👏🏻

Dont know how this popped up on my feed.... Something about the simplicity and freedom of it portrayed just made my day. Really enjoyed it.

My great grandfather used to do this back in the 1930's. One time he fell under the train and severed both legs. One above the knee one below. He tore his shirt in half to use as a tourniquet and managed to survive. He had a pair of wooden legs made up for him that he would use to get around. He continued to live and work long after that. After he passed my great grandmother kept the wood legs for a long while after lol

When the stock train is safer than the passenger train lol. This was in my recommended btw. Im not a NFL fan or a train person. Good for you for doing your bucket list. It is a shame we don’t have passenger rail across the USA. Wish you the best 👍🏻🇺🇸

I admire you! Train hopping is also on my bucket list. Something I really want to do..if only once. I am 82 years old and still determined. If your experience did nothing but convince you that you many not want to do it again, then maybe it was worth the trip. If you want to try it again, good luck...and if you see other train hoppers on the same train, don't try to connect with them. Not good!

Really felt your anxiety during the hop on! Excellent video and something I’d of loved to do when I was in the US. I’m from the UK. You’re a bare man and an inspiration. Keep up the amazing content and stay safe dude

not bad for a first train hop. ive always wanted to train hop out west. train hopping on the east coast is so much more different. more surveillance, more populated areas you gotta hide in, more frequent stops, etc.

I love train hopping videos, but lately its all been this "look at how cool I am" type garbage, with the only concen being views on YouTube. This is a genuine itch to try it something bold and it came across as a sweet wholesome video, with a kickass plot. Dude, this reinjected life into a rather stale side of content, super amazing video!! Would kill for a longer video like this, but hats off if you decide to never do this again. Peace man, never lose that wholesomeness!
