Hughie was looking for a fight, and it only made him angrier that A-Train's apology was actually genuine.

A-Train is pretty strong himself no wonder he was shocked at how hard he got punched

I like how A-Train wasn't mad or anything, he even probably thought he deserved a good punch after all he did, but he really was surprised and just wants to know what else is going on

A-Train owed Hughie an apology. But Hughie didn’t owe A-Train forgiveness.

Bro the fact that a train was legitimately sorry pissed him off more😂

It shows who they actually are after compound V . Hughie with super powers or not still would have punched him.

A fight between a Speedster and someone who can teleport would be sick as fuck

I think the apology was real, now that he sees how supe collateral damage affects people. After witnessing his brother paralyzed by Blue Hawk and feeling that anger. But Hughie doesnt really want an apology. He wants take revenge. And now that he has the power to do so, of course he's gonna take revenge. Because thats who Hughie really is.

Edit: if youre gonna critique my thoughts on criminal justice and the nature of vengeance as opposed to justice, please actually read what i said. Like. All of it. Cause its an extremely complicated subject and you need to be able to remove your own emotionality from the matter to really observe it for what it is and truly understand.

Edit #2: not arguing anymore. Tired of writing essays on the same topic over and over and answering the same questions and mean-spirited accusations from people who refuse to read my words or understand my perspective

A train is the Vegeta of the boys. Best character growth of the whole show.

I get how Hughie felt like"you don't get to change, not after what you did"

Not only is this great comedic timing for the situation, but it’s also amazing character development for A-Train. Finally finding a purpose to BE a hero and tying up all the loose ends behind him. And that scene with Blue Hawk topped it all off

I feel like a lot of people don’t understand that Hughie didn’t actually want an apology he just wanted to start a fight with A-Train.

After years of having to sit there and just accept what A-Train did to him, Hughie finally got his chance to fight back. He demanded an apology fully expecting not to get one and thus having a justification to fight A-Train. So when A-Train did end up giving a very genuine apology it only pissed Hughie off even more because in a way that was A-Train denying him his vengeance

Even with a sorry, normally you'd expect jail time. The fact the A-Train gets of clean is infuriating

It's funny, cuz for someone so fast he didn't see that one coming 🤣🤣
