I clicked on the game, clicked on properties and it showed no local files. Doesn't even look the same as when you right clicked and looked at properties on your game

is there a way to do this to a game not installed on the main hdd? i have my steam games on portable hdd for storage but i don't have a game installed on my laptop any way i can have it find the game on the portable hdd so i don't have to install it on my laptop?

Thats not how you get to the game files at all lmao, you need to put %appdata% in your file explorer most of the time your game is installed in Appdata/Local or appdata/localLow

If you dont have a game installed, you cant go to local files, but ok.

i want to play nfs most wanted with a controller so i added it to steam but it says that game cannot be saved so i need a fix for that could you somehow find that . that is why i need to search the non-steam game folder cause its not showing up where you showed
