In case anyone wants some context and don't plan to watch the show: The guy that dexter is talking with is a serial killer in which the guy and his friend would do r thing to young girls and each of his friend would take trophies of their victim this guy would cut a piece of their hair and mark them and then put the victims into a water barrel and connect those water barrel to some electric cables and shocked them to death and throw their bodies in the lake. In this encounter dexter just think this guy is just some killer or does some bad activities because of the records he acquired in his police database or something, and as dexter notice how smart this guy is who is able to deduce so much about a dead raccoon, it only made dexter more suspicious of this guy who is so smart doing this small job. If anyone needs more context to what happens to this guy or anything of this episode feel free to ask me

Season 5 felt like Dexter was overcoming his grief and helping a lost soul being pulled by the darkness, Lumen was a fantastic addition to Dexters world, it was satisfying that she got closure at the end.
