One thing that I’m relieved about, specially now that I’m rewatching the show, is that Rita died without knowing what Dexter was. Her life had been so awful, yet she was sweet and smiley and had a pure heart. I’m a bit glad that she managed to die believing she had a loving, caring and normal boyfriend at least.

1) a serial killer
2) a hunter of serial killers
3) another serial killer, who happens to be a blood brother of the first serial killer and an adoptive brother of her

Major irony! I also love the Make up your mind scene in season 2. You know, the one where she wishes they'd hurt the Bay Harbor Butcher, and then tells Dexter to have a good day.

Valid point. I've already seen all the seasons, but there are quite a lot of people just getting into the show. In countries like the UK it was relatively unknown until recently. This video isn't spoiler-iffic, but looking through the comments is a goldmine. Just because everybody else is doing it doesn't make it the done thing.

I miss the cleverly funny monologues of Dexter in the first two seasons. From then on the quality of his monologues have dropped significantly.

Actually, we will never know whether or not Rita found out. Her last moments being killed by Trinity were never shown. It is possible that Trinity told her.

The top irony in Dexter is with his cooling system. The brand is "LG" which stands for "Life's Good" (okay, previously that was LG Goldstar), who knows what that hides ?

Debs reaction to finding out about rudy and about dexter are completely different
