G 2 a Milly #8 ❄️ Humble Pie 🥧

Tesla stock soared 21% today after a monster Q3 earnings beat. It was a big day for the portfolio. But something wasn't right ... I was still stressing because of my Airbnb options position. So I had to make the tough call to sell my options for a small gain and roll the position into plain, old, boring Airbnb equity. A prudent move in the long term I believe, and one that will serve my sanity. I realize I've been flip flopping like crazy with options, but that is what it is. Cheers to a good day in the portfolio I guess ....

Fantastic lesson here. Every investor needs to learn their personal temperament and be honest with themselves. Never sacrifice your peace of mind for a trade. Only buy positions you have strong conviction in. Managing an investment portfolio is like being a captain of a ship. There will be rough seas and huge swells, you have to remain calm and keep the ship pointed in the right direction, not panic and return to shore.

I tried options a couple of times, I found it was house odds, you were statistically under water from the get go and really had to make a great call to come out ahead so unbiased leverage seems the better option. Also the options market seemed very illiquid. Only a few were on offer and it took a while to close them again.

Hey Gali, glad to see you posting more these days! In addition to my TSLA stock, I also own several thousand TSLL shares, which is a 2X TSLA Bull Leveraged ETF. TSLL moves at roughly twice the percentage that TSLA does (up and down though). I prefer holding TSLL over playing Options because there's no expiration date. I'm up over $370, 000 on my TSLA and TSLL just today! Yay! 😃

Would really appreciate an in depth video on abnb stock. I'm a host, I love the company and also believe in the long term renter opportunity. The problem is, in the Netherlands, there are so many laws blocking these opportunities that are very difficult to change.

I think you're totally right to ditch the options and just be a buy and hold guy, that's awesome, that's a great example to set and it's great you're willing to change your mind and own it, that's a superpower.

Imo some people collect baseball cards or Elvis memorabilia, I just like collecting stock certificates and you gotta get the best ones.
