The competition is very low, most dudes don't feel like kings. One of the most important things you can do is to get good at something, not just for the skill but for a sense of self worth.

Something I’ve learned is, charisma is just being confident in your ability to genuinely express emotions, to tell a story or a joke, and most importantly, to be alright with yourself no matter how people react :)

I'm confident, opinionated and talkative when I'm alone or with close friends but then social anxiety cripples me in public, it's so frustrating. Like why am I suddenly in flight or fight mode everything is ok girl lol.

Recently I have ever come so much anxiety when I go out because it's dawned on me everybody else has anxiety too & are so much more trapped in themselves than us that work on this stuff. In fact, I've adopted the mentality that it is a part of my destiny to free myself & then help those around me be free as well. Everywhere I go I largely see people trapped in themselves. In the midst of areas I'm still working on I am more free than 99% of people. Thus I am in a position of responsibility to teach joy in everything I am ( without literally lecturing people) When I go out It is all about learning how to give & receive value in so many subtle ways.

Other humans may in fact react negatively to your genuine self but when you really think about it, none of that matters. Just be.

Me too, I used to be the shyest person in the world, and then I worked on my Charisma, I improved my eye contact, body postire, smile, my verbal, my nonverbal. And now, man you can't believe how confident and humble I become

there is a thin line between true charisma and beeing over-confident without really able to back it up. Real charisma is scarce and untrainable. Socializing is the word you're looking for.
