The BEST and EASIEST HOMEMADE Dog Food!

What's up YouTube Family! Welcome back to my channel and thank you for tunning in! This video is going to be all about making the proper, balanced diet, for your dog!! This diet will help with ALLERGIES, SHEDDING, DRY SKIN and can be VERY beneficial to dogs with heart murmurs!!!

Beef or Bone Broth (Low Sodium) • (16oz)
Water • (1 cup)
Chicken Gizzard • (1/2 cup)
Chicken Hearts • (1/4 cup)
Chicken Liver • (1/4 cup)
Beef Kidney • (1/4 cup)
6lbs Ground Turkey (Extra Lean)
3lbs Beef Stew Meat
Green Beans • (2 cups)
Carots • (2 Bags Shredded Carrots)
Spinach • (4 cups)
Red Bell Peppers • (2 - diced)
Sweet Potatoes • (2 - diced)

Put in once food is cooked

6 Eggs (With Shells)
Turmeric • (2tsp)
Ginger • (2tsp)
Dried Dandelion Leaf • (4tsp)
Coconut Oil • (4 heaping tbsp)
Flax Seed • (2tsp)
Chia Seed • (2tsp)
Pumpkin • (1. 5.5oz can)

Add per weight size at feeding time

Sea Kelp
Salmon Oil
Raspberries
Blueberries
Blackberries
Apple Slices

By far this is the best video on YouTube of how to complete a balanced homemade food for dogs. You are a fantastic mom to your doggies, I’m sure they appreciate your hard work and love. I did a lot of research about dog nutrition and you nailed it!!!👍👏 the only thing i would add with turmeric is a dash of black pepper for better absorption. Besides that in my opinion everything you did is perfect !👍 😍

For everyone who says dogs don't eat vegetables, you ever see a dog eat grass? They know they need veg. Gardener's dogs will often pluck their own snacks too.

This recipe is pretty similar to the one I use from a 30 yr vet who does traditional and wholistic medicine. It doesn't call for all these ingredients, but I had to add green beans, peas, and quinoa for fiber because he was eating a lot of grass when I first transitioned him to homemade food. After adding fiber, he quit eating grass.

For the gizzards, I cook them gently first in water on low for 40 minutes. Then they are easy to cut into small pieces. I make the quinoa with broth from the cooked gizzards. (I make frozen cubes with the remaining broth for a treat when it's hot out.)

Sometimes I just put all the meat through a meat grinder which makes it easier then I bake my dog's food low and slow in the oven. The eggshells get lightly baked seperately to dry them out, then I pulverize them in a NutriBullet and sprinkle into the loaf. I add all my oils after baking to retain their full nutrient value.

My dog's itching and fur issues went away after getting on this diet, and his fur is incredibly soft. He gets so excited at meal time! 🤗

I’m so glad I came across your video. Processed dog food is just crap. My Frenchie was on it for 4 years and I had no idea it was making him sick! He had severe allergies, ear infections and skin issues. I started him on a homemade salmon diet and it’s balanced with oil and supplements. He no longer scratches like crazy, his fur is silky soft and he no longer smells plus he loves the food. It cost me about 40 bucks a week but I’m so committed because it keeps the vet bills down. It would be cheaper but I think my dog is allergic to chicken and beef products because he licks his paws if given to him so we’ll just stick to fish. I’m happy, he’s happy and so is his vet doctor. Thanks for the video and the education! 😊
