HOMEMADE GARLIC NAAN! Easy, Quick, and Delicious

This is a super easy and delicious recipe for garlic naan at home! Everyone is going to fall in love with this fresh bread and that cilantro garlic butter is heaven.

DOUGH
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 3 cups all purpose flour (add 1-2 tablespoons more if dough is sticky)
- 1/3 cup plain whole milk yoghurt
- 2/3 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- vegetable oil or ghee for cooking the naan

GARLIC BUTTER
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, more to taste
- 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

I made this but added some fresh garlic to the dough directly and then did the garlic butter. Made this with nihari and it was good

This recipe worked absolutely perfectly. I was missing the yogurt but substituted sour cream and it work just fine. I love garlic naan. The bread was soft and really tasty.
