- The US is 2nd in energy consumption. China surpassed the US in 2010. The US is 1st in oil consumption.
- 30 named storms did not hit the US. A record 30 named storms took place in the Atlantic, only 11 hit the contiguous USA.

Clarifications

- I said the War of 1812 was a US victory when it is a bit more complicated. The US failed in many of their pre-war objects including failing to fully rid the British off the North American continent. To do this the US made multiple attempts to invade Canada, but failed. Because of this Canada claims victory in the war. However, the US did repel the British from US territory with geography playing a large role. The British also abandoned the natives who they supported before the war of 1812 with arms and supplies and were thought to be encouraging attacks on the US. This allowed the US to expand into the Midwest without British interference after the war.

It´s funny how most people ridicule "manifest destiny" when it turned out to be really positive for the US as a whole.

So I have seen this video and I saw that other one that you compared US cities to European cities, and I think you're very informative and you definitely know your stuff and do a lot of research. I honestly think your channel is great but I'd like to give you a little bit of constructive criticism.

I can't help but notice that there isn't a whole lot of enthusiasm in some of your lines. Sometimes it actually does sound like you're just reading a script. It's not the whole time. I have heard you change your tone especially towards the end of this video, but I just can't help but notice that it's not as enthusiastic as like other people I've watched who talk about certain facts about the United States and geography and so on. Just something I wanted to point out.

I wonder how the country's expansion would have been impacted if it had gone west to east rather than east to west.

its unbelievable how lucky and advantageous the geography has been for the US. Also it was given good leaders, government and an easy language, no wonder its dominant is most industries

Wouldn't it be "sunk en route" instead of sank?

I really enjoy your videos, as they are informative and well researched! One piece of constructive advice... watch your subject/verb agreement and use of correct verb tense in your narrative. I do NOT want to come across as hyper critical, but it will improve your overall presentation! Good work. 😊👍 (I'm a southern boy, and I can tell you are, too!)

Reagan said America was a land blessed by God, hard to argue with that.

Oh but no sir. It wasn't about long supply lines why the english LOST 1812. in 1812 the largest army ever was going to invade Russia. That is why the english could not sent all their troops to US to recapture it. The english also invaded my country in 1799 but failed miserably. greets from Netherlands bye
